Space
The internet has allowed human beings to do something they have never done before: create more space.
Space--terrestrially speaking--has always been an extremely valuable commodity. I don't need to list examples of murders, wars, and divisions over land issues to prove it. The internet is adding a new form of space-war, only, now, it is metaphysical (hyperphysical?).
It is continuing that the pursuit (the one for mental propagation--the one for our ideas to be born in other people's minds) in a much more handy form. It will be interesting to see which organizations, ideas, disciplines, businesses, etc. are fittest to survive in such a foreign environment.
